GambleAware publishes an Invitation to Tender for the evaluation of the Safer Gambling Campaigns

London, 28th February 2022: GambleAware has published an Invitation to Tender (ITT) for the evaluation of its Safer Gambling Campaigns. The charity is seeking to commission a holistic campaign evaluation to provide an evidence-based assessment of the outcomes from GambleAware’s prevention campaigns, which currently include:

  1. Men’s Gambling Harm Prevention campaign: A campaign aimed at men aged 18–34, encouraging regular male online sports bettors to avoid Bet Regret, and more recently to tap out of their betting app and take a moment to think before placing a risky or impulsive bet [1].
  2. Women’s Gambling Harm Prevention campaign: A new campaign aimed at women aged 25–50, encouraging those who gamble online to spot the signs of gambling harms such as “losing track of the world around you”[2].

The overall outcome of this piece of work is to contribute to more effective prevention campaigns and, in turn, prevent those who gamble from experiencing gambling harm.
