This report presents the evaluation findings of The National Gambling Support Network (NGSN). It identifies implications and recommendations for GambleAware, the network providers, future system commissioners (the NHS) and wider system stakeholders.

*Over a 2-year time period when compared with care without the presence of NGSN services

  • Allocated resource to targeted engagement initiatives, targeting awareness-raising 
  • Tailored services to different service-user needs
  • Activities based on evidence of need and tackling issues such as stigma

Key findings

This evaluation found that the NGSN system is clinically, operationally and economically effective in supporting people experiencing gambling harms.
