Female gamblers experiencing harm were more likely to:

- be younger
- be from ethnic minorities
- have children

Key barriers to seeking help included stigma and not perceiving gambling as harmful. There is unmet need for support, with only 16% of women experiencing harm having accessed services. Gender-sensitive approaches are needed to better engage women.
